レッスンでは、楽譜に書かれている音を正確に弾くだけではなく、作曲家が何を意図してその音楽を書いたのか、時代背景や作品の構成、音色やフレーズの意味まで丁寧に考えながら、一つひとつの作品と向き合います。
自分では気づくことのできなかった課題を的確に示してくださり、同じ曲でも視点を変えることで、音楽の表情が大きく変わることを実感しています。
コンクールに向けては、技術的な完成度だけを求めるのではなく、「自分はこの作品をどう表現したいのか」という部分まで深く掘り下げていただき、演奏者として成長するための大切な学びをいただいています。

I have learned to approach music with greater depth and purpose.
I have been taking lessons with Kido Sensei for many years, and through his guidance, I have learned not only how to improve my piano technique, but also how to approach music with greater depth and purpose.
In his lessons, we do more than simply play the notes accurately. We explore what the composer intended to express, the historical context of the work, its structure, tone, and phrasing, and the meaning behind each musical decision.
He is very good at identifying things that I would not have noticed on my own. By looking at the same piece from different perspectives, I have discovered how dramatically its character and expression can change.
When preparing for competitions, Sensei encourages me to think beyond technical perfection and ask myself what I truly want to express through the music. This has helped me grow not only as a pianist, but also as a musician.
Through his teaching, I have come to appreciate the depth of the piano and the joy of exploring music more deeply.
I hope to continue working sincerely with each piece and gradually discover my own unique voice as a musician.
